My Approach to Tattooing
As a colour realism tattoo artist based in West Kelowna, BC, I specialize in detailed and emotionally rich tattoos defined by bold colour, refined composition, and lasting impact. I guide each client's vision with artistic intention - transforming ideas into extraordinary pieces designed to heal beautifully and last for years to come.
From Beauty Industry to Tattooing
Before tattooing, I spent years in the beauty industry as a lash educator and cosmetic tattooist. That background shaped my approach to precision, professionalism, aesthetics, and client care - standards I still hold deeply today.
During the COVID pandemic in 2020, I found myself with a lot of unexpected free time. I returned to drawing and painting, and what began as a creative outlet quickly turned into a full commitment, leading me to pursue tattooing and eventually leave my previous career behind.
Today, I specialize in colour realism with a focus on floral, botanical, and nature-inspired work. I've studied under master tattooists to deepen my understanding of colour theory and refine my techniques, constantly pushing my craft forward.
A Unique Tattoo Experience
Ash & Ink Tattoo is a private, fully licensed home studio designed to feel calm, personal and client-focused. After spending countless hours in the client chair myself, I knew I wanted to create an environment that felt different from traditional tattoo shops - quieter, more intentional, and centered around the experience.
The studio is fully licensed and permitted by WFN Health Authority and follows all regulations for personal service establishments.
Life Beyond the Studio
Outside of tattooing, I'm a mom of two, married to my best friend, and usually found hiking with our australian shepherd and chihuahua - or curled up with a fantasy romance novel or fine arts textbook. Life is a beautiful mix of chaos and creativity, and I wouldn't have it any other way.
